An Evening with Paranoyds with Zilched at Third Man Records

On Wednesday night, the Paranoyds and local band, Zilched played Third Man Records. There was an opening band before Zilched but I'll be honest, I didn't catch their name and they weren't listed but they had some fun drumming during their set. Zilched played next with a really strong set that highlighted their veering in a more rock-n-roll direction with a Stevie Nicks cover. The Paranoyds set was filled with songs from their latest release, "Talk, Talk, Talk" with the women of the band sharing vocals nearly equally, giving a nice variation in their raw pop punk songs. The Paranoyds create a night pure fun with their music, it all stems from the fun they are having on stage. They brought Chloe from Zilched up to sing a couple songs and ended their set with a blazing 10 minute version of "Bear" from "Carnage Bargain".
