Allie X and Violet Chachki Get Weird at Saint Andrews Hall

The crowd tonight was as excited to see Drag Queen star, Violet Chachki as they were seeing Allie X. While Violet only sang 4 songs, her performances were great with a change of outfit to each song. My favorite song was her cover of Visage's "Fade to Grey." The opening of Allie X was an introduction to the band set to Billy Idol's "Eyes Without A Face" which was fitting to highlight her latest release, "Girl With No Face".

Allie X came out in an eerie and striking Victorian Mummy dress with a net over her face. Her set pulled songs from all her albums, some of my favorites included "Weird World", "Back Eye," "Super Dooper Party People" and "Suzi Save Your Love" as part of her encore.
