Asin9ne - Tech N9ne Makes His Return to The Fillmore with ¡Mayday!, Joey Cool, and X-Raided

As a 17 year old juggalo in 2003, the most amazing line-up for Hallowicked befell The then State Theatre in Detroit. The yearly Halloween tradition was part of the underground all-star line up of the “Wicked Wonka” Tour. Featuring Esham, Bone Thugs - n - Harmony, Mack 10, Kottonmouth King, and a rising Tech N9ne. The first time I saw him live, i was blown away. I don’t remember the set list exactly, but I remember him destroying the stage with “I’mma Tell,” “Einstein,” “The Industry is Punks” and a bunch of other amazing tracks from the Anghellic and Absolute Power albums. Fast forwards 17 years later and a dozen performances later, and I can say that Tech still runs the stage like an up-and-coming artist trying to prove himself.

Joining him on the 2022 “Asiin9ne” Tour are label mates ¡Mayday!, recently signed X-Raided, and Joey Cool. ¡Mayday! has been on my bucket list since I started photoing concerts. Last time I saw them live, there were some technical difficulties and their set got cut to 2-3 songs. So to finally see A) a full set and B) from 2 feet away was mind-blowing. Added to the energy that X-Raided and Joey Cool had already ignited, the whole evening warmed my 17 year old juggalo heart.
