Adam Ant Delivers A Dandy Show to Detroit
Adam Ant stormed into Detroit with an amazing set of all his great songs throughout the years. From the very start with "Ant Music" to playing his punk standouts like "Car Trouble," "Xerox" and "Red Scab" to his solo hits "Puss'n Boots" and "Wonderful," Adam danced around the stage and sang for nearly 2 hours. The crowd loved every minute of it, singing along to every song including the beloved b-sides like "Ants Invasion." His full band, including 2 drummers, were very tight and creatively threw in more guitar in place of horns. It was a seated show that was completely unnecessary, the fans were on their feet the entire night. There are still many shows left on the tour throughout the US so if Adam Ant is coming to your town or even a state away do yourself a favor and make the trip to see him.
Opening the show was the (English) Beat who has been putting on stellar shows for Detroit for decades so it was nice to get another great band on the bill.
