The Front Bottoms Sell Out Their Detroit Stop with Alex Lahey on The “Finding Your Way Home” Tour
At a sold out Saint Andrew’s Hall in the heart of Detroit, the Front Bottoms performed for their 4th stop on their “finding your way home” tour..
Hyping up an already energetic crowd was Alex Lahey. Performing in Detroit for the first time, Lahey brought her alt-rock singer songwriter energy with amazing songs like “Shittalking,” “Spike the Punch,” and “Brother.”
Finally, the new jersey natives hit the stage. The duo of lead vocalist and guitarist Brian Sella and drummer Mat Uychich took their places front and center. , accompanying them were their amazing touring crew featuring guitarist and backing vocalist AJ Peacox, bassist and backing vocalist Natalie Newbold, and bassist, guitarist and backing vocalist Erik Kase Romero. From the view from the pit, the energy kept to astounding heights as they blasted through their set list. The crowd went crazy for “Skeleton,” “Bae,” and “Laugh Until I Cry.”
Sadly after the first 3 songs, my time in the pit was over and photographers were asked to leave so I cannon comment on the rest of the show. But the energy leaving the venue as fans were packed as far back as the ticket window was felt even in the parking lot.
