The Satanic Doo-Wop Rites of Twin Temple in Detroit

Tuesday night at Majestic Theater devil horns were donned and if you weren't wearing black you were probably somewhere else. Having played here a couple times in the past year, Twin Temple is quickly becoming a Detroit darling. Vowws opened the show with a set of dark, heavy music of synth, guitar and drums.  The mood changed up as lights came on and Twin Temple began their set with their "Sex Magick" ritual which spiraled into the tease of "I'm A Witch". Backed by a full band, the music was tight arrangements of their doo-wop satanic bliss highlighted by Alexandra's strong vocals. Their set also included, fun musical interludes like "The Munsters" theme and playful devil worship banter between songs. Playing to near sellout crowd you could see how much fun the crowd was having as they cheered and danced the whole night away.
